- Change the auto-opening interval: In case, you are using an auto-sign in method to check the email after every few minutes, then this could very well be a key factor behind the occurrence of the issue. The best way to resolve the issue is by changing the auto-checking period from the time you have already selected to 20 minutes.
- Delete the keychain items from the SBCGlobal email: This troubleshooting step has been tested and verified by a few users. They have mentioned it in their comments that they were able to solve the problem by implementing that step. You need to erase the keychain items from the SBCGlobal email. For that, you need to check for any chain if it contains any ring or not. If there is any, then remove it immediately.
- Click to cancel and try again: There is one tested solution to the problem, which starts with clicking ‘Cancel’ button for getting ‘Failure’ message on the screen. After that, you need to log into your account again after closing and opening the login window again.
- Enter your complete SBCGlobal email address: When entering your SBCGlobal email address, make sure to enter the full address, as incomplete address would cause issues. Many users have been able to solve the problem after this particular step.
